We are excited to help our client recruit a dynamic and dedicated physiatrist to become an integral part of their expanding team in New England. As a dedicated SNF physiatrist, you ll play a pivotal role by offering your expertise in physiatry to our affiliated skilled rehabilitation facilities. Your main responsibilities will include managing complex physiatric-related medical conditions in the SNF and LTC population, performing specialized procedures such as large joint injections or botox. The physician will aslo be expected to travel to affiliated facilities, dedicating one day per week to each facility. Providing oversight and support to our team of autonomous APPs will be required. The physician will be tasked with taking on minimal administrative duties including attending monthly quarterly meetings, occasionally conducting an in-service for staff, and liaising with our referring facilities to educate about the physiatry programs we offer at these facilities. The average daily workload will consist of approximately 6 hours. The physician will be tasked with seeing 16-20 patients daily, with rounds typically consuming 2-3 hours. There is flexibility for documentation, as notes may be completed from home. Estimated total compensation will start around $300,000, which includes a $250k base salary plus easily achievable bonus based on productivity, including a directorship stipend for administrative tasks and support to our team of APPs.
