Cobalt AI harnesses the transformative power of automation to elevate standards of physical safety and security in the workplace. We strive to eradicate mundane, repetitive tasks and empower people to do what they love. Eliminating these time-consuming tasks means workplace teams can focus on serving employees with empathy.
Cobalt’s team is changing the way companies approach workplace safety and security. Cobalt's Omni platform is a cloud-hosted, AI-based, human-verified software platform used for real-time monitoring of security devices, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and robots. Cobalt's robots respond to alarms, conduct site safety checks, and greet visitors in hundreds of locations across the globe. Our proven platform integrates smoothly into workplace culture and delivers a memorable user experience.
Sales Engineers at Cobalt Robotics are tasked with expanding and maintaining Cobalt's Omni security integrations and 100 robot fleet, worldwide. They serve as technical experts on sales calls, execute product demos, and provide technical support to customers. They also serve as Technical Solutions Engineers: they triage and resolve bugs, configure and deploy AI systems and robots to new customer sites, and set up new integrations with doors, elevators, security cameras, and alarm systems. They are also the first engineers to respond to customer concerns and improve the product to better meet the customer's needs. This is a 80% remote position, however the engineer must come to Cobalt's Fremont, CA headquarters approximately one day per week, as occasional on-site work with product demos and the robots is required. Although they do not develop software full time, Sales Engineers work constantly with our AI and robotic systems, and they will develop features and fix bugs to improve the fleet as the need arises. Our current team enjoys the variety and the excitement of the position, and the ideal candidate will be adaptable, flexible, and eager to hone a variety of technical and interpersonal skills.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
