Consumer Compliance Testing and Monitoring Consultant
Duties:
Duties:
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate operations and processes and to facilitate complex decision-making.
- Follows established modeling and evaluation methodologies to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities, isolate problem areas and develop solutions.
- Tests and validates models and results. Prepares reports that outline and rank proposed solutions and present a range of possible alternatives.
- Assess current operations and propose enhancements to strengthen the program
- Communicate issues and recommendations to the Business and Compliance Teams
- Assist with a variety of activities related to the daily operations of the Servicing Team
- Validate issues and perform remediation testing to ensure compliance
- Support the integration and implementation of new Third Party Servicers
- Ensure internal stakeholder's needs and issues are being addressed by Third Party Servicer including data analysis to identify clear paths to resolution
- Support other business functions with projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Drive a rapid innovation cycle that maximizes speed, quality and operational efficiencies
- 3 years' experience in Business Operations preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial or consumer lending, including familiarity with applicable federal and state regulations, such as ECOA, FCRA, TILA, FDCPA, UDAP, GLBA/Privacy, OFAC and 3rd party vendor management.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently self-starter, enthusiastic and highly motivated
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
