Air Cost Control (“A2C”), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to data entry.
• Perform 3 way match of inventory invoices.
• Generate vouchers for service vendors after receiving approval.
• Review and process expense reimbursement reports.
• Generate a weekly payment run by payment type.
• Obtain payment approvals
• Verify payment methods
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Reconcile Accounts Payable and request monthly vendor statements
• Work with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Support Accounting team by maintaining and providing records for internal and external auditors
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in financial accounting (public and/or industry) required
• Aviation/Aerospace experience helpful but not required
• Fluency or working knowledge of the French language is a plus

• Strong work ethic (willingness to work hard and long hours, when needed).
• Superb time management skills and detail orientation
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Strong Excel skills as well as experience with accounting software and online platforms
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency when completing assignments
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly express an opinion or interpretation of various analysis, schedules or statement and results.
