The Logistics Manager directs the movement, distribution, and shipment of materials for the organization. Control the flow of incoming and outgoing products to ensure customer satisfaction and shipping when promised. Responsible for selecting carriers, negotiating contractor rates and improvement of supply chain efficiency. This includes performance for the Logistics Coordinator and all Drivers. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities of the logistics department. Implements programs that ensure the needs of the logistics department are met (training, safety, and housekeeping).
