Symbtec is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Tallahassee, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer literacy skills, experience in event planning, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Duties:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and logistics
- Maintain computerized records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Enter orders into the system and process invoices
- File and organize documents both electronically and physically
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Transcribe meeting minutes and distribute to relevant parties
- Provide front desk support by greeting visitors, directing calls, and responding to inquiries

* Sort and distribute (internal and external) mail as directed by the Department.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in event planning is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
