We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Milan, IL. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing our accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate financial transactions.

Location: Milan, IL (Onsite Position)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and post all cash receipts to the AR system
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
• Assist Credit Department in the daily collection and review of all customer accounts
• Send monthly statements
• Communicate with customers and sales team
• Monitor customer rebate programs
• Perform some complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities
• Perform account analysis
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in accounting or other business related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivables

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, business partners, and the public.
