Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Job Description
We Deliver the Goods:

- Posts payments to appropriate accounts
- Assist customers, sales representatives and internal staff with payments, credits, invoices, balances due and adjustments
- Research and resolves unapplied cash/payments that don't have proper remittance
- Monitor status of returned checks
- Prepares, prints, and processes customer statements on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist new sales representatives with mobile deposit app
- Accumulates, sorts, and files receivable documentation to facilitate research and reconciliation
- Print reports for management as needed
- Serve as back up for credit hold releases
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 - 12 months experience in finance, accounting,
level accounting classes
- Basic knowledge of MSOffice - Outlook, Word and Excel
- 1 years' experience in finance, accounting,
