Summary/Objective

This position provides support to the business development representatives (BDRs) by assisting in various tasks with the goal of generating qualified leads.

Job Function:

  • Point person for the business development team collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Operations
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to support pipeline generation
  • Assist business development representatives in their prospecting efforts through list creation, salesforce campaign development and lead routing
  • Create, scrub and prepare target lists
  • Review and manage lead routing tasks through various channels
  • Provide support in creating and customizing SalesLoft campaigns specific to the sales needs and goals
  • Create, manage and present results and analysis on a consistent basis both on a broad level as well as vertical specific while using results to improve tactical performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical, reporting and process issues/gaps
  • Manage, create and adhere to processes

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Salesforce, Zoominfo, Demandbase, Salesloft
  • Understanding of the lead routing process
  • Strong organizational skills both written and verbal and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles and achieve goals
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
  • A drive to be accountable for pipeline generation through the business development team as a result of activities and campaigns

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is a highly collaborative one, requiring individuals who can both take guidance, and lead without authority. This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional business office environment or home office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. Collaboration with other team members is as critical a skill as customer communications.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. While rare, occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel to meet with clients or potential clients or attend marketing events may be on occasion. Travel requirement is up to 5%; however, travel may be greater or less than this percentage during certain periods of the year.
