Job Description: We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Construction Inspector to play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide construction inspection services for public civil engineering construction projects, ensuring adherence to contract specifications.
• Inspect contractor installation and rehabilitation of sewer, water main, roadway, sidewalk, curb, concrete, signage, water connections, and appurtenances.
• Produce detailed daily inspection reports, summarizing contractor staffing, work activities, and payable amounts.
• Review and maintain accurate T&M records as required.
• Utilize expertise to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ensure site safety standards and maintenance and protection of traffic.

Qualifications:

• NICET II-IV or equivalent job experience.
• Strong time management and decision making abilities.
• Ability to communicate with contractor staff, resident engineering and inspection team and the public.
• NETTCP HMA/CI/S&A or equivalent concrete testing certification.
