C2 Technology Group is Hiring a Payroll and Human Resources Administrator Near Birmingham, AL

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Certified Payroll Professional to join our team.

**Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/HR Administrator to manage all aspects of our payroll and HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, comprehensive knowledge of payroll law, regulations, taxes, and excellent communication skills. (Must be willing to commute to Montgomery, AL. a few days for training purposes)

**Responsibilities:

- Assist with timekeeping

- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements

- Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and hours worked

- Handle payroll and human resource inquiries from employees and management

- Prepare and submit payroll reports, 401K deposits and tax filings as required

- Reconcile weekly benefit deductions

- Manage annual open enrollment for benefits

- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations

- Process new hires and assist with their onboarding

- Handle special payroll/HR projects and initiatives as assigned

- Manage Workers Compensation policies/audits/claims

**Requirements:

- Must be experienced with Certified Payrolls

- Construction industry experience is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration

- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams)

- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
