PacAero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.

The Position

The role of the Accounts Payable Specialist involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. The role is to complete invoices and control expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling. 

This is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of invoices to process. We're searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a busy atmosphere. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounts payable processing, so strong time management skills are a must.

• Review and process incoming vendor invoices, including electronic scanning and filing of invoices. 
• Provide review and oversight on financial transactions to ensure accurate coding and classifications.
• Follow-up with vendors and internal personnel to support vendor inquiries and internal customer needs. 
• Prepare weekly vendor payments. 
• Maintains and reconciles all accounts payable including in coming goods receipts and respective accruals. 
• Process in-coming mail for accounting.

Requirements

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in a related accounting role 
• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting preferred 
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift, pull, carry up to 30 lbs

Competencies

• Strong ability to gather and research data for reconciliation purposes. Identify and resolve problems timely. Should demonstrate attention to detail.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting software. 
• Excellent Microsoft skills, specifically Excel software, with a working knowledge of advanced functions (Pivot tables, Lookups, etc). 
• Good working knowledge of debits and credits and the complete accounting cycle 
• Respond quickly in a professional manner to customer needs, both internal and external. 
• Able to manage difficult situations in a calm and professional manner. 
• Meet required deadlines. 
• Approaches other in a tactful, respective manner. The ability to maintain the confidential nature of information is essential. 
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment and balance multiple work assignments. 
• Works well in team environment- supports everyone’s efforts to succeed. Adheres to the policy and procedures of the company -supports company’s goals and values.
