We're currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Cheshire, Connecticut Pharmacy. We're a closed-door pharmacy that focuses primarily on long term care.
Position: Pharmacy Technician Location: Cheshire, Connecticut Pharmacy (ON-SITE)
Salary: $15.75 to $19 an hour (Depending on experience)
Available Shifts: We're hiring for convenient shifts from 12 PM to 8:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 12 AM

Job Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our daily operations. From entering prescriptions to consulting with pharmacists, your contributions will make a difference. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive prescriptions via phone or in-person
- Accurately fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposing as per procedure
- Help prepack frequently ordered medications and label them accordingly
- Package materials and products manually
- Maintain workstation areas and restock supplies as needed
- Adhere to all applicable regulations including HIPAA
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required
