What We're Looking For
The Supply Chain Engineer will perform planning and analysis work in support of supply chain operations.
What You Will Do
•Assist in investigating alternative production and warehouse layouts - Right Sizing
•Coordination and implementation of distribution of material flow - material replenishment methods
•Develop, implement and maintain processes to provide new capacity, and to improve material flow and productivity of existing facilities
•Assists in writing and following up on capital projects, purchase requisition, special work orders, miscellaneous interplant transfers, surplus equipment dispositions, and a variety of other documents to procure equipment and services
•Create and maintain PCCA current and future state value stream and process mapping
•Perform analysis of data and presents results
•Assist in writing and maintaining computer rules that control the location of incoming material, production and finished goods
•Assist in creating strategic tools to leverage and optimize PCCA global supply chain, which align with organizational goals and objectives
•Ensure that department objectives are in line with corporate objectives
•Travel up to 10%
•Assist with related special projects, as assigned
Who You Are
•Bachelors of Engineering or Bachelors degree with an emphasis in distribution operations, i.e. Material Handling, Logistics or eight years of experience in logistics supply chain
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
•Ability to establish and maintain relationships
•Advanced statistical/analytical and decision making skills
•Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and SQL
