What We're Looking For
The Supply Chain Engineer will perform planning and analysis work in support of supply chain operations.
What You Will Do
· Assist in investigating alternative production and warehouse layouts – Right Sizing
· Coordination and implementation of distribution of material flow – material replenishment methods
· Develop, implement and maintain processes to provide new capacity, and to improve material flow and productivity of existing facilities
· Assists in writing and following up on capital projects, purchase requisition, special work orders, miscellaneous interplant transfers, surplus equipment dispositions, and a variety of other documents to procure equipment and services
· Create and maintain PCCA current and future state value stream and process mapping
· Perform analysis of data and presents results
· Assist in writing and maintaining computer rules that control the location of incoming material, production and finished goods
· Assist in creating strategic tools to leverage and optimize PCCA global supply chain, which align with organizational goals and objectives
· Ensure that department objectives are in line with corporate objectives
· Travel up to 10%
· Assist with related special projects, as assigned
Who You Are
· Bachelors of Engineering or Bachelors degree with an emphasis in distribution operations, i.e. Material Handling, Logistics or eight years of experience in logistics supply chain
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
· Ability to establish and maintain relationships
· Advanced statistical/analytical and decision making skills
· Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and SQL
