The Manhattan Club, New York City’s first Timeshare property is seeking a Security Manager to oversee Security Department staff during the PM evening shift.

A residence-style Boutique Timeshare, the Manhattan Club provides endless possibilities for the enjoyment of its guests. This position reports to the Assistant Director as well as the Director of Security.

The Security Manager will maintain a safe and secure environment for owners, guests, and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. Effectively handle any incidents and concerns in a professional manner. Must supervise, train, and develop staff including Security Officers and Bellman. Fill in all shifts including nights and weekends while providing the highest level of customer service. Must be able to remain calm and collected during high pressure situations. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Job Requirements:

· 2 years of Security experience in a management role

· Strong organizational, surveillance and analytical skills

· Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a team player

· Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills

· Schedule flexibility – must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays

· Professional appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality

· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications

Physical Requirements

· Long hours sometimes required; ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
