Position Title: DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Compensation: $40,000-$45,000
FSLA/Position Type: Exempt (Full time)
Reports To: Media Manager

Position Description:
The digital marketing specialist will drive digital and social media marketing efforts for all client work. The person in this position will serve as an expert in digital and social media strategies, striving to optimize lead generation, nurturing and conversion through various digital and social media campaigns. This position reports to the media manager and is responsible for integrating digital and social media marketing with all marketing/advertising, public relations/outreach, traditional media and grassroots marketing initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Initiate conversations and own digital and paid social marketing best practices and standards within the organization, including reporting, measurement and return on investment (ROI) for digital campaigns.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social influencer, paid social and display marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the development team to strategize and recommend best practices and user-flow strategies.
  • Use strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Lead planning for digital and paid social media marketing, participate in client launch meetings and work with activation team to create an integrated communications plan.
  • Implement and manage multiple digital and paid social media ad campaigns for a variety of clients, including setting up ad accounts, content creation, scheduling, monitoring and reporting.
  • Manage budgets for paid social media advertising and paid search, making sure ad campaigns are pacing correctly and are optimized for best performance.
  • Craft strong and unique content and copy for multiple tactics, including paid social media placements, content marketing articles, blogs and websites.
  • Consolidate metrics and provide ongoing reporting and analytics to the media manager and provide guidance for program optimization.
  • Benchmark digital activities against those of our peers in the industry; improve digital marketing strategy and tactics to “get ahead of the curve.”
  • Establish, measure, optimize and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Essential Skills Necessary:
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Demonstrable experience thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Public speaking and presentation experience preferred
  • Broad interest in marketing and advertising
  • Willingness to take initiative and work hard
  • Ability to work successfully with diverse teammates and people with different work styles
  • Ability to communicate effectively, as well as efficiently and briefly, with multiple individuals and teams throughout the day
Education & Professional Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media and display campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture)
  • Working knowledge in setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
  • Working knowledge in social media ad campaigns for business pages
