FBC Roofing is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Ogden, UT

FBC Roofing was founded in Oahu, Hawaii about 13 years ago. Our first Utah location in Lehi opened about 3 years ago and has been thriving. Since coming to UT, we now have 5 locations across the state: Ogden, Cottonwood Heights, West Jordan, Lehi and Provo with plans to continue with our fast-paced growth. With that, comes many opportunities for growth and leadership in our company. Each of our current general managers started as a Sales Representative that worked their way up into running their own office.

We are, of course, a roofing company; and we specialize in Insurance Restoration Roofing, meaning we work with the insurance to help homeowners recover expenses related to their roof replacement, which is a win-win for the customer and the company!

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

-Perform general office tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.

-Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.

-Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.

-Maintain and organize office filing systems.

-Assist with data entry and record keeping.

-Provide support to other team members as needed.

-Help recruiting for Sales Representatives.

-Customer service background.

Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

-Attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Ogden, UT 84401: Relocate before starting work (Required)
