Community Health And Social Services Center is Hiring a Clinic Supervisor Near Detroit, MI

Position Summary: The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the Center’s primary staff, overseeing the performance of all patient care responsibilities, and is responsible for overseeing and executing clinic projects. They will supervise and oversee the primary staff efforts, and support the CMO in tasks that include hiring, coaching, and reviewing staff performance, work manuals and scripts, staff evaluations, staff observations, and staff training. The coordinator will work directly with the Chief Operations Officer and other leadership team members to develop programs and execute projects according to quality goals and fulfill all grant requirements. The supervisor will participate in various committees and work groups to deliver quality patient care services. They will work closely with CHASS’ Quality Improvement Committee and lead the Patient Experience Survey program to establish a vision and direction for customer service excellence within the framework of current regulations, market initiatives, existing program work plans, and the network’s strategic plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Responsible for the daily operations of their assigned Center to ensure effective, efficient, and safe.

  • Ensures project/program outcomes are maintained and reported.
  • Manages all primary staff support.
  • Ensures that the staff maintains the flow of clients and patients to decrease patient wait time and increase patient satisfaction.

  • Guides and supports participation in patient care delivery.
  • Executes productivity increase strategies to optimize clinical staff and procedural value.
  • Develops clinical administrative policies and initiates action to enhance patient care.

  • Supports the staff to ensure that monitoring and analysis of patient appointment schedules and patient care operations provide a smooth patient flow.
  • Attends meetings, and conferences and may prepare and conduct presentations as needed.
  • Prepares a variety of reports and maintains organized and accurate records.
  • Assists in coordinating physician templates and message headers.
  • Collaborates with members of the health care team and other health professionals as it relates to essential job duties.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Works closely with the CHASS implementation team to ensure that all clinical setup and workflow development are aligned with QI program requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Orders patient experience surveys, update provider survey codes
  • Makes suggestions for implementation of clinical quality improvement programs with the guidance and approval of the Quality Improvement Committee (QIC)
  • Participates in the ongoing development of clinical data repository and dashboard reporting.
  • Responsible for patient survey process and reports outcomes
  • Participates in monthly QIC meetings and performs requested follow-up duties.
  • Facilitates regulatory compliance.
  • Handles facility maintenance problems with support from the NSO Facilities Manager
  • Program Manager duties as assigned by Chief Operation Officer.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Education:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in public health care, business administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:A minimum of three years of experience in community health centers is preferred. Minimum one to two years experience in supervising direct staff.

Special requirements, qualifications, licenses, or certifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
