Company Overview:

With a recent private equity investment and plans for rapid expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing sales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

An Installation and Service Technician plays a crucial role in safeguarding properties and ensuring the safety of occupants by installing, maintaining, and servicing alarm systems. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service abilities to deliver high-quality security solutions.

Responsibilities:

Installation:

  • Install alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, control panels, and other components, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure proper placement and configuration of alarm devices to optimize effectiveness and minimize false alarms.
  • Test installed systems to verify functionality and performance.

Maintenance and Repair:

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with alarm systems, including wiring problems, sensor malfunctions, and communication errors.
  • Repair or replace faulty components as needed to restore system functionality.

System Upgrades and Expansion:

  • Assess client needs and recommend upgrades or expansions to existing alarm systems to enhance security capabilities.
  • Install additional sensors, cameras, or other devices to meet client requirements.
  • Integrate new components with existing alarm systems to ensure seamless operation.

Customer Service:

  • Communicate with customers to understand their security needs and preferences.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to customers on how to use and maintain their alarm systems effectively.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
  • Generate service reports detailing work completed, parts used, and any recommendations for further action.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
  • Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
