Euro Homecare is Hiring a PCA Personal Care Assistant Near Hamden, CT
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to the mail client , who needs personal care services. The client walks independently. He likes his place clean.
The job is in Hamden. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11.30 am till 7pm. A caregiver must have a vehicle.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor
Skills:
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or elderly population is preferred
