Tampa Bay Newspapers Inc has an immediate opening for an inside Classified Sales Associate in our Seminole office.

We are looking for an outgoing, professional with strong communication skills. Interested in working in a fast-paced environment with friendly co-workers.

Advertising sales experience is a plus, must have strong computer skills, be organized and able to multi-task, self-motivated and a team player.

The primary duty of a Sales Associate is to promote and sell classified advertising and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Sell and promote classified advertising.
• Schedule weekly/ monthly classified ads
• Process payments
• Recommend related products to increase customers' options and upsell into special sections.
• Sell display/retail advertising weekly plus monthly special sections.
• Answer incoming calls, assist caller or direct call to appropriate department.
• Review competitor publications for potential leads
Make outbound cold calls.
