Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas

Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with proven experience in SaaS networking and cybersecurity, particularly in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and expertise in implementing MFA solutions. Additionally, proficiency in Certificate-Based Authentication for Wireless networking (CBA) is required. Experience in Azure cloud services, including designing, implementing, and managing networking solutions, is essential. Familiarity with Kemp load balancing solutions and the ability to design, deploy, and optimize load balancing configurations are desired.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage cloud-based security solutions, with a solid understanding of Zscaler (plus).
• Oversee vendor management, collaborating effectively with technology vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and support.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and produce new documentation promptly upon request.
• Possess relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewall and Fortinet Firewall.
• Configure and manage wireless networking protocols, particularly with Ruckus Equipment.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Assist in preparing Statement of Work documents and seek vendor input.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Cisco N7k\9300 switching and BGP Administration.
• Proficiency in LAN\WAN\VPN (IPSEC) configurations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
