• Perform engineering calculations, load ratings, analysis and design of reinforced/prestressed concrete and steel bridge structures and other ancillary structures, under the supervision of Senior Bridge Engineers.

• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.

• Ability to respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Design Changes (FDCs), Contract Change Orders (CCOs), etc.

• Other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering would be preferred but is not essential.

• Engineer-In-Training Certification preferred. Eligibility and willingness to pass PE test within 1 year required.

• 1 years structural design experience - emphasis on bridge structures preferred.

• Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design of various types of bridge structures.

• Experience in recognized parametric design/scripting software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and/or Dynamo preferred.

• Experience in commercial analysis software such as CSI Bridge, Larsa 4D, and/or MDX, LEAP Concrete, STAAD preferred.

• Experience using CAD software such as Microstation is preferred.

• Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as interpersonal skills.
