Job Description
A Project Manager is a key leader responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. As a vital member of the project team, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of construction experience in a leadership role
- Experience in multi-family construction preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related discipline preferred
- Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors and suppliers
- Proficiency in construction software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and travel locally as needed
- OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred
Responsibilities:
1. Safety Leadership: Initiate safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
2. Project Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of project scope and intent.
3. Scheduling: Create and maintain a baseline schedule using Primavera P6, defining critical paths and project completion dates.
4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and on-the-job training for Assistant Superintendents and Project Engineers.
5. Training and Development: Encourage and participate in staff training and development initiatives.
6. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date as-built plans and project site utilization plans.
7. Pre-Construction Surveys: Perform surveys to document existing conditions prior to project initiation.
8. Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and inspection agencies.
9. Subcontractor Management: Manage all subcontractor work, including schedules, safety audits, and budget adherence.
10. Budget Management: Work with project management to maintain project budgets and understand cost implications of site impacts.

- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Comfortable navigating construction sites and working at heights
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and moderate to loud noise conditions
