Job description

Executive Assistant

Empowering Minds Resource Center is seeking an Executive Assistant with proven leadership skills and experience to provide guidance and foster collaboration among departments. This position is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring you to ensure effective communication and supportive efforts between our Executive Team, Program Directors, and various departments.

Job Description:

  • Monitor programming effectiveness including delivery and quality of programs and client services, maintain a culture of quality, commitment to excellence, and adherence to federal and state requirements, attend meetings and events for education, training, and information sharing, assist in business development activities with a goal and commitment to company growth and maintenance of the highest standards of quality of care for behavioral health programming.
  • Support operations and administration of the agency.
  • Review and assist with external quality review audits for each county as well as quarterly/annual program reports in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Work with the Executive Team and Program Directors on special projects.
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Assure the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image. Expand awareness of EMRC programs and services.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the community outreach team and assist with their efforts in support of the agency’s outreach goals and objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ management and policy experience, preferably in mental health.
  • Experience in team building, change management, and supervising mid-managerial level staff.
  • Strong problem solving, written and communication skills.

Skills:

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively with leadership.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills.

Travel Requirement: Must have reliable transportation to support all locations; Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, Anne Arundel County and Prince Georges County. Travel between sites is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
