Description
The Development Manager is critical in driving the organization’s growth and sustainability through effective program enhancement and revenue generation. The Development Manager supports building the capacity and impact of the organization’s services through the identification of new sources of funding, the identification of new programs and services aligned with the organization’s mission, and the sustainability and growth of existing programs and services. The Development Manager collaborates with Development team members and other departments throughout the organization to prepare, complete and submit funding/grant applications for new services and programs and to manage renewals of existing contracts and services. The Development Manager will establish project milestones to ensure projects are completed effectively, in compliance with any relevant regulations, and within budget. As a representative of the organization, the Development Manager is expected to be professional at all times when representing the organization to external business partners, vendors, and funders. The Development Manager will work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure cohesive understanding of the goals that support TCS’ programmatic and developmental vision of growth.

Requirements
Ø Bachelor's degree in a related field with three to five years of experience in a development role within a human services or healthcare organization.
Ø A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in grant writing, proposal writing, and revenue generation with proven track record of success procuring funding for non-profit organizations.
Ø Demonstrated experience in program development or management within a social services or healthcare organization requiring tasks such as technical writing and policy development.
Ø Excellent research skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and present information effectively backed by metrics.
Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project and grant management software/tools is advantageous.
Ø Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
Ø A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to supporting its growth through effective funding methods.
