Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

Azleway is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist in running day-to-day operations in it's Child Placing Agency in Grand Prairie, TX. This position is a full-time position. Applicants must demonstrate aptitude for quick learning, familiarity with computer systems, and an ability to learn and innovate.

Responsibilities and Duties

Applicants may be required to perform the following duties on a regular basis:

• Quick and accurate data entry.
• Answering phones with professionalism.
• Scanning and entering information into central computer system.
• Lifting boxes of paper.
• Printing, copying, and faxing.
• Sorting and organizing documentation.
• Comfortable with typing quickly and efficiently.
• Taking initiative to work on projects and remain productive under minimal supervision.
• Welcoming guests into the office with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with food pantry documentation as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• High-school diploma.
• Able to pass requisite background checks for working in a childcare facility including, but not limited to, finger-printing, drug screens, and background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative work.
