Mechanical Assembler- Electronic Components

Assembles basic electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, or systems by performing a variety of mechanical operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Reads basic work orders, follows basic production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture, or other holding device.
• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Mounts components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on printed circuit boards.
• Mounts assembled components on upper level assemblies.
• Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies.
• Maintains department specific records.
• Works under close supervision from Production Department Supervisor.
• Is consistently at work and on time.
• Must adhere to company specified work schedule.
  Other duties may be assigned.

Starting Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
