Delta Group Electronics is Hiring a Document Control Specialist Near Grand Prairie, TX

Maintains the configuration management control and controlled release of all documents and files related to manufacturing and supporting departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Determines adequate control level to all documents and files provided to the company.
  • Maintains controlled release of all controlled files through the use of an Access database.
  • Disseminates documents and related changes across departments.
  • Receives, communicates and implements all changes to controlled files through the use of an internal change order database.
  • Examines controlled files to verify completeness and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Confers with internal account managers and/or sales manager to resolve discrepancies and/or clarification.
  • Hardcopies are developed for use throughout the company utilizing CAD software and Gerber viewers.
  • Performs extensive email communication throughout the organization.
  • Assures sensitive files are protected through the use of adequate software security protocols.
  • Maintains adequate recall of time sensitive files.
  • Research industry-based standards, documentation and component specification via the internet.
  • Develop and maintain production aids and internal procedures/forms.
  • Maintains department specific records.
  • Works under minimal supervision from Facility Quality Manager.
  • Is consistently at work and on time. Must adhere to company specified work schedule.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
