**Computer skills**:

Word, Excel, E-Mail, SAP or other MRP system experience is a plus.

**Job Description**:

* Process requisitions in SAP incorporating multiple ship to locations.

* Work with multiple internal customers responding to their needs as they become required.

* Assist Buyers with analysis and/or transactional activities.

* Cross functionally train in other areas of procurement department to insure you have balanced view of the day to day activities.

* New item creation and set up in SAP

* PO and release maintenance including PO changes

* Delivery, lead time confirmations with suppliers

* Price break set up in SAP

* Work with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoice discrepancies

* Monitor the suppliers for quality, performance, and price.

* As time permits research new suppliers.

* Negotiate cost savings whenever possible.

* Manage assigned suppliers, categories, and inventory management

* Maintain a positive image as a representative of Sunsweet.

**Educational Background:**

Associates degree preferred.

**Work Experience:**

* 5 years of office work experience (manufacturing a plus)

* buyer experience, accounts payable, receiving environments a plus.
