The Vice President of NA America Marketing is responsible for the development of all marketing/advertising and driving the revenue of all Dried Fruit and Juice products sold in North America. Directs and manages all marketing support including pricing, new product development, packaging, advertising, public relations, distribution and promotion. Directs the development of annual marketing plans and new product development. Directs all product line objectives and strategies including positioning, pricing, packaging, new products, promotions and advertising. Directs forecasting, planning and inventory management of all products across all channels. Develops and directs annual advertising and promotion budget to support forecasted sales. Directs and manages advertising and promotional agencies on all advertising creative, development and execution. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

1. Involves managing all agencies including advertising, new product development, public relations and packaging design.
2. Involves strategic planning of go to market strategies, marketing strategy and product strategy
3. Involves tactical execution of product strategies and account level activities.
4. Involves managing logistics, finance, production, etc on the execution of strategies and tactics throughout each fiscal year.
5. Involves the analysis of marketing and sales programs, in addition to managing the Advertising budget for North America.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills: 

• Management skills of direct reports/agencies and proven experience working directly with sales and to successfully supporting company goals, with strategic and tactical programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Requires travel for market visits, agency management, trade shows, etc. (up to 10%).

Ability to: 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze the business (profitability, performance) and recommendation strategies to improve business performance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to drive projects through the organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, Preferred MBA in Marketing
• 10 years’ experience in managing product development, advertising and branding for national food manufacturer.
• Supervisory / leadership experience managing direct reports and agencies.

Physical/Safety Requirements: 

• Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.
• Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
