Must be local to Yuba City and surrounding areas. Internship starting first week of June.

Hours will be TUESDAY - THURSDAY 7:30am to 4:30pm.

As a Grower Accounting Intern at Sunsweet, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals, work on real-world projects, and immerse yourself in planning and accounting for plums provided by our co-operative growers. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience with accounting and reporting to growers.

Projects:

• Candidates must currently be attending an accredited four-year university with studies focused on accounting.
• Learn basics on California plum crop, including from bloom to sell out. 
• Learn fundamentals of co-op accounting and crop pool close.
• Work with the Director of Grower Accounting on quarterly member grower payments, focusing on member return analysis.
