HERE Technologies is Hiring a Strategic Account Manager, Transportation & Logistics Technology Near Chicago, IL

What's the role?:

The Senior Partner Account Sales Manager (PAM) owns the end-to-end relationship with a Fortune 5 HERE Transportation & Logistics Partner by creating breakthrough opportunities for HERE. This PAM is expected to develop a strong relationship with Partner, execute sell-through sales motions, and location services and data thought-leadership to create an industry-leading Partner experience. This will lay the groundwork for the HERE Partner to ultimately drive sales growth. The Senior PAM understands the organization, structure, and business model of Partner and develops relationships with decision-makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish new book of business and grow the pipeline qualify opportunities, define unique value propositions, and devise strategies to acquire additional revenue.
  • Grow & accelerate revenue from existing partner account, and apply strategies to reduce time to revenue and firm-up revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to maximize value for the HERE Partner and HERE.
  • Apply go-to-market tactics that accelerate and scale growth leveraging our partners and HERE professional/technical services.
  • Lead pricing and customer contract negotiation processes.
  • Adhere to HERE Sales Process and sales/customer lifecycle guidelines to effectively manage the business

How you will impact decision making:

  • You'll be an expert at identifying and leading the appropriate resources (internal and external) required to develop and execute the strategy that you will build
  • You will manage relationships and execute sales initiatives & project plans for your assigned Partner
  • You'll organize monthly progress meetings and quarterly business reviews

Who are you?:

You're an exceptional problem-solver and influential collaborator that can conceptualize winning strategies, formulate strategic initiatives, and execute under tight timelines.

You have:

  • 10 years of complex software solutions sales experience to global technology companies with revenue over $40B.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience within Transportation & Logistics vertical, selling into business groups moving goods in 53ft trailers.
  • Consistent track record of quota attainment and overachievement of sales targets.
  • Proven ability to manage global accounts in a market facing significant disruption.
  • Ability to execute a complex sales process, including coordination of commercial and technical pre-sales resources
  • Deep knowledge of location technology and proven ability to identify sources of value from partnerships.
  • Strong ability to interface effectively with key stakeholders, strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinker willing to challenge status quo with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions
  • Experienced in building long lasting relationships with multiple various business groups within a Partner account.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time productively and effectively.
  • Capable of travel to key operations and customers across the world.
  • Bachelors degree in Management or Business Administration
