Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of daily operations and sales activities. Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment
- Assist with visual merchandising to create an appealing store environment
- Handle cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or related field
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and other retail technology
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control procedures
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving sales goals
- Cash handling experience with attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
