Job Description
1st Shift (6am to 2:30pm)
- OT Opportunities : Most work until 5pm, also half days on weekends. (Not Mandatory)
Salary - $23/hr - $32/hr
Currently seeking a Panel Builder for a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment in Franklin Park, IL. This person will play a vital role in helping the machine shop build custom control panels to meet the monthly quota.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a Panel Builder, or Panel Wirer role.
- Or any hands-on electrical role where you've wired or built control panels.
- Also, open to apprenticeship, or in a role, wiring electrical systems, or machines.
- Able to read electrical schematics.
- Understanding of single/three-phase power up to 480V.
- Able to build control panels from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire control panels from the group up or from scratch.
- Layout, assemble, and wire electrical components.
- Mounting, Drilling.
- Using hand/power tools, and soldering irons.
- Working with a team to meet a monthly quota.
- Interpreting and reading electrical schematics, and BOMs.
- Using mechanical, and electronic test equipment to verify product standards.
