Position Summary:
ENTEK is seeking an Electrical Panel Builder to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have wide-ranging skills and experience installing electrical components and assembles into control cabinets, electrical and industrial equipment, and related industrial apparatus, according to drawings packages. Terminates wires to all components for low and high-voltage applications. Installs back panel into a cabinet. Terminates wires from cabinets to machines as required.

Responsibilities:

• Basic panel layout and assembly
• Read and understand electrical schematic (ladder diagrams) and mechanical layouts. Possess a good understanding of electrical components.
• Select appropriate wire gauges based on drawings, customer specific practices and component manufacturer and circuit requirements.
• Communicate all questions and concerns that could affect project outcome to the Shop Supervisor as soon as possible.
• Adapt to production schedule changes as instructed to assure customer delivery schedules and expectations are met.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizans, 5S, RIE’s and other work area standards
• Work with the shop on Layout and the build of small to large sized electrical panels.
• Team with mechanical and controls for optimum build criteria during design.
• Reads and understands electrical schematics and PLC ladder-logic listings.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• On-the-job experience is preferred.

Critical Knowledge/Professional and Personal Capabilities

• Must be able to read drawing package and build electrical panels.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently for significant periods of time.
• Ability to perform under strict deadlines and work extra hours with little to no advance warning.

Salary Range: $22-$28 per hour
