Analyst, IT Procurement

The Analyst, IT Procurement will support global sourcing requirements for technology across stakeholders both in the IT function, as well as directly with the business. Will support strategic execution of IT procurement activities, category strategy management and the alignment of suppliers to meet ELC’s Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion and Payment Term Goals. The sourcing work is mainly focused in the Software, IT Services and Hardware sub-categories. 

In this role, the assistant manager will assist executing multiple projects simultaneously, across one or several functions and with multiple stakeholders in different regions, so priority setting and project management are important skills for the role. Stakeholder and supplier relationship management are also important parts of the role.
 
Leads the execution of assigned sourcing projects, which can include an RFX process, direct supplier negotiations and contract negotiations, managing the project all the way to contract signature.

Assists their manager in global IT sourcing activities and projects.

Assist in developing and managing stakeholder relationships

Creates a plan and delivers savings to meet targets defined for their area.

Support the development of global category strategies.

Helps plan and conduct sourcing projects and RFX’s on a global, regional or local level, engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources

Assists in the contract creation and redlining process ensuring legal adequateness.

Helps ensure compliance of the category strategies and sourcing projects, taking into consideration Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOPs as well as legal and regulatory requirements

Assists in defining supplier base and secure capacity, plan implementation (timeline, resources, cost, etc.) and align stakeholders 

Assist in contributing to global/ regional supplier relationship (SRM) programs with key suppliers in close alignment with stakeholders

Qualifications - External

Bachelor's degree required

3 years experience

Strong Analytical skills

Independent, agile, and motivated personality

Presents high levels of interpersonal skills

IT Sourcing/Procurement experience preferred. Experience sourcing services, negotiation of SOWs is highly preferred.

Microsoft Office Suite, strong excel knowledge highly preferred

Strong knowledge of the IT professional services markets highly preferred

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong organization and prioritization skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
