Description:

Manufacturing tech company in the San Francisco area is looking to add a GL accountant to their team! This person will work alongside the Accounting & Inventory teams while simultaneously supporting AP functions.

Responsibilities:

• Enter financial data and transactions into the ledger
• Review documents and accounts for accuracy
• Prepare & perform reconciliations and match transactions within accounts
• Support month & quarter end closing and audits
• Identify and clear backlog of accounts within Expensify
• Identify and assist in clearing accounts for the inventory team
• Assist Accounts Payable team with process improvement and ad hoc support
• Collaborate with other teams for accounting support, such as Operations, Marketing, Inventory, and Field Ops

Skills:

General ledger, Reconciliation, QuickBooks, Accounting, Month end, Journal entry, Accounts payable, Reporting, Pivot table, Excel pivot tables, expensify, inventory, COGS

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience within GL accounting required
• Experience and knowledge of inventory & COGS preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks (Online) required
• Experience with NetSuite or a large-ERP system preferred
• Experience with Expensify or any Expense Reporting software required
• Intermediate experience with Excel required
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
