Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources /Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the human resources department and back office operates smoothly and efficiently, providing maximum value to the company and all employees. Your responsibilities will include vetting and interviewing new candidates, onboarding new employees, and assisting our Office Manager with minor tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver with strong verbal and written communication skills and a committed team player. ***Knowledge of Construction is a plus***
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process
  • Onboard new employees
  • Assist Office Manager
  • Make sure employees are clocked in /clocked out; reach out if needed
  • Help with researching (when applicable) suppliers/materials/information
  • Assist in performance management tasks
  • Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or related position
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, ADP
  • Construction Terminology is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
