The Opportunity
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead/Manage a team of 3 to 5 Electrical Engineers in the design of water/wastewater and food & beverage projects
- Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering and technician staff
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams
- Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations
Additional Project Opportunities
- Studies Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
- Support business development and build relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineers license in MO, KS, or another US jurisdiction
- 11 years in electrical design, planning and construction services
- Consulting and Water/Wastewater and/or Food & Beverage experience preferred
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
- Minimum of 8 years related work experience
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
