We are now looking to add a strong Project Manager to the team!
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related
- 3 yrs of experience in civil construction
- Proficient with Project Management Software
- Ability to coordinate teams
- Oversees the planning organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating of construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget
- Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications.
- Understand contract specifics, prepare submittals, and track approval in writing. Complete and track change orders with approval and in writing
- Identify opportunities, create advantages, and maximize bid profit
- Continuously track in-house production rates, analyze, and apply to future estimates
- Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and addition to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Read economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
- Oversees the preparation of cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
