Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm is looking for an entry-level civil engineer to join our transportation group. Responsibilities include field observations of roadway conditions and data collection; roadway design modeling (Bentley or AutoCAD); prepare cost estimates and specifications; assist in developing design plans; identify and apply or use the standards, guidelines and principals in the AASHTO Green Book, Highway Capacity Manual, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Highway Safety Manual, and other local and national standards; assist in the analysis, preparation, or modification of reports, specification, plans, schedule, studies, permits, and designs for projects; technical writing; attend client meeting; assist in client contact and communications. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date.
