Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment in achieving sales targets
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track and manage customer interactions
- Lead project management initiatives related to business development activities
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within commodities
- Strong understanding of software products and services
- Proficiency in strategic planning and execution
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deals
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
