The Medical Assistant will greet patients, create patient charts, schedule patients for office visits along with prepping charts for the week within our EMR.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets patients and visitors when coming into the facility, answering multi-line telephone along with inquiries or questions patients might have
• Schedule appointments based on physician(s) availability
• Prepare patients charts for their visit
• Maintains reception area in a neat and organized
• Delivers outgoing mail by eod

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Personality and demeanor to assist with the public and assist ill or older patients
• Basic office skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Quick learner

Education and Experience:

• 1 year Medical Front Office Experience
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
