Awaken Las Vegas and Awaken Christian Academy is Hiring a Media Manager Near Las Vegas, NV
- GENERAL
- Disciple and equip the congregants of Awaken LV to do the work of the ministry.
- Demonstrates proficiency in creating, shooting, editing, and producing professional videos.
- Drives the creation, production, and creative vision of videos for projects specified by senior Leadership.
- Interface with third party editing service provider to keep them up to date on and uploaded with current sermon series, mid show announcements, and current events at ALV.
- Maintain the process for transcription of all online videos, specifically sermon archives.
- Oversee all media capture, content, and distribution for ALV Missions.
- Work with ALV Creative team on all special services and events.
- Oversee creation of media content for all ALV media platforms such as:
- Online Videos on our website.
- Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast and YouTube Music
- YouTube channel.
- Vimeo Channel
- other avenues as they arise
- Oversee production of Video and Audio podcasts including:
- Creating, packaging, and producing content.
- Utilizing the recording studio for creation.
- Working with Communications Director and Lead Pastor for written information pertaining to podcasts.
- Directing created content to the proper outlet.
- Storyboarding and planning out special content related to the podcasts.
- Responsible for a limited amount of Social Media content.
- Manage, oversee, and direct all areas of media locally and abroad for Awaken Events and Crusades.
- Work with the Technical Director, Creative Director, and Worship Pastor to schedule all necessary Media volunteers for any service or major event.
- Steward the annual ALV Media Budget.
- Edit, package, and upload weekly service messages to all streaming platforms.
- Design, install, and maintain annual capital improvements as it relates to the Media Manager position and responsibilities.
- Prepare and plan for international travel as it pertains to video capturing in foreign countries.
- Possession of current and valid passport is preferred. Obtaining a valid passport will be required for international travel.
- MINISTERIAL
- Must be a born-again Christian, professing a love and faith in Jesus and living a life that demonstrates a commitment to the word of God and committed to serving and supporting the vision and mission of Awaken Las Vegas.
- Be available to supply prayer, biblical guidance, and support when called upon.
- Discipling and developing the community.
- EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 4 years minimum of successfully professional or volunteer experience in media management and production, with demonstrated ability to produce professional output in various mediums.
- EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Media Studies, or related field is preferred but not required. Significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
