Enterprise Program Manager
Inceed has partnered with a thriving retail company to help find an experienced and talented Enterprise Program Manager to join their team!
As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and optimization of Manhattan WMS in our distribution center buildout. Your expertise in managing large-scale projects in enterprise environments, coupled with your deep knowledge of WMS and the project management lifecycle, will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within our distribution operations.
Responsibilities:
  1. Enterprise Environment Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience working in complex enterprise environments to understand the organization's needs, align the program with strategic goals, and navigate through organizational structures effectively.
  2. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Manhattan WMS, to lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the system to meet our distribution center requirements.
  3. Distribution Center Buildout: Lead and oversee the entire distribution center buildout project, including managing timelines, resources, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
  4. Program Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation. Ensure successful execution of the program, meeting project objectives on time and within budget.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the WMS implementation and distribution center buildout. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure smooth project delivery.
  6. Project Management Lifecycle: Apply your strong understanding of the project management lifecycle to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and closeout the program effectively.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams, including IT, operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of the WMS into existing processes and systems.
  8. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement effective tracking mechanisms to monitor program performance and regularly report progress to key stakeholders. Address any deviations from the plan promptly.
  9. Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during the WMS implementation and distribution center buildout, ensuring adoption and buy-in from all stakeholders.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the WMS and distribution center operations.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in managing programs and large-scale projects in an enterprise environment.
  2. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Manhattan WMS.
  3. Previous involvement in distribution center buildout projects is highly desirable.
  4. Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle and methodologies.
  5. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  6. Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
