Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist who will be in an office-based role where it is important to collaborate and work with your colleagues in the Houston office. Hours will be 8-4 CST, and it can be flexible according to the candidate's preference. You will be expected to work with desktop support end-users across United States, Canada, and South America.

Duties:

• Work with IT hardware comprising Laptops, Desktops, Mobile, Tablet and Apple MAC devices
• Naturally inquisitive and will help end-users resolve their issues in a timely manner

Desired Skills/Experience:

• High School diploma is a must but some College experience would be a plus
• 1 years of experience with Mac would be a plus
• 2 years of experience working in IT
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages are a bonus such as Spanish or Portuguese
• Experience of Windows 11, MacBook iOS, Office365, McAfee, Anti-virus, Bit locker, Encryption, Network Printers, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
• Understanding of unified communications platforms such as video conferencing, VOIP systems, Knowledge of Polycom would be a bonus
• MDM, Mobile Device desktop (AirWatch) experience
• Able to handle stressful end-user situations effectively without losing professionalism
• Prior knowledge of Desktop, MacBook Imaging, and supporting Mobile Devices
• Experience managing and tracking asset, may need to help with collecting and recycling old assets
