DSI Dantech A/S is Hiring a Finance Assistant Near Hamilton, OH
Our Cincinnati-based team is looking for an energetic individual to join them as a Finance Assistant. This is a full-time role ideal for someone who has previous experience in the field.
The qualified individual will handle the local accounting and assist site management with various administrative tasks. The individual will also be responsible for handling our payroll in accordance with Global DSI Dantech standards and local requirements.
This position reports directly to our Finance Manager located in Denmark, but in the daily business our General Manager in the US will offer support.
Responsibilities include:
- Debtor handling, including issuing invoices, register incoming payments & handle dunning procedures.
- Creditor handling, including register incoming invoices & prepare and register payments
- Prepare timely and correct payroll payments, including secure payment of employee bonuses.
- Reconciliations and other month-end procedures in coordination with the Group finance team in Denmark
- Ensure legal compliance related to tax, VAT and other finance related areas.
- Prepare high-quality material for Year-End audit
- Proactive communicating with group finance in Denmark about any finance and accounting related issues.
- Assist local management with various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operating site.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of related accounting and/ or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proactive and good at prioritizing own assignments
- Detail-oriented yet having a pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
- Tech-savvy. Enjoys learning and optimizing new systems and are experienced MS Excel user.
- Teamplayer who communicates proactively with local and overseas colleagues

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
