Acadia Healthcare is Hiring a Project Director of Human Resources (Field) Near Franklin, TN

Overview:

The Corporate Project Director Human Resources will be supporting and traveling to Acadia facilities around the country. This individual will act as the HRD at facilities that have a vacancy and/or will provide periodic extended onsite support to an interim leader and will help to facilitate a smooth transition once a permanent HR leader is hired.The Project HRD will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of Human Resources and other (administrative functions as assigned) with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times ??Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration on an ongoing basis and strives to resolve employee / leader concerns. Provides leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Recognizes that Leading Care With Light and providing care in the most therapeutic environment is a top priority.

Responsibilities:
  • Travel anticipated up to 80%. Might require some over the weekend stays based on facility needs.
  • Sets the vision for Human Resources function at assigned facility.
  • Role models expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to employees and work environment.
  • Serve as a member of the leadership team and on committees as required.
  • Manage the daily operations of Human Resource function.
  • Ensure Human Resources department functions in compliance with the laws and regulations of federal, state and local governmental agencies. Standards are met for accrediting agencies.
  • Provide effective and efficient budget management that ensures the best utilization of resources.
  • Evaluates, and provides value add guidance, regarding staffing requirements to ensure needs of patients are met.
  • Provide effective staff management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that ensures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the patients.
  • Actively participates in strategic planning and budget development.
  • Provide support and guidance to facility management and employees with a focus on consistent employment practices.
  • Develop, manage and administer various human resource plans and procedures for all facility personnel.?
  • Conduct recruitment: activity to include advertising, internal job posting, application screening, coordination of interviewing, extending offers of employment and completing necessary paperwork.? Develop and maintain tracking system for open positions.
  • Maintain personnel files, including training records and all necessary new hire paperwork.??
  • Responsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse teams, including experienced and junior professionals.
  • Provide guidance on interpretation of policies and procedures while serving as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas.
  • Work with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues by coaching and training.
  • Ensure complete and consistent Human Resources documentation, including but not limited to documentation of disciplinary actions and training compliance.
  • Timely initial and on-going verification of licenses including background, driving record, professional and other checks as designated by state regulations.? Assure necessary action taken expeditiously if policy standards are not met.
  • May include managing and directing subordinate staff to identify goals and objectives.
  • Handle complex and sensitive employee relations and human resources issues that have organizational impact or legal ramifications.
  • Advise managers on performance management, workforce planning and compensation.
  • Enter and maintain all employee information in UltiPro (HRIS).
  • Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field required.
  • Five years previous experience in a Human Resources?leadership role with?demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations and negotiation and human resources information systems required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification if required by facility, state, regulatory bodies (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
